A Black father is trying to hold his family together. Black men are dealing with the reality that they are the sons of their father's Black mistress while he was going home to his white wife.

Chris Brown is fighting his former housekeeper's efforts to redirect his profits from his tour with Usher into her pockets as she tries to collect on her nearly thirteen million dollar judgment from a lawsuit Chris lost. Maria Avila is attempting to have all of his present and future income assigned to her including tour money and royalties until the debt is satisfied. Chris filed court documents objecting to these moves claiming the effort to grab all of his current and future income is way too broad and well beyond what she can get under the law.

Offset clapped back at Rylo Rodriguez after the Alabama rapper appeared to mention his rumored gambling troubles on a new song. Rylo's album S.K.A.T.E., released July 3, includes the track "Eliza (Bless Me Up)," where he raps, "Freebandz, I'm locked in with Casino, but I'm not Offset."

After Mississippi authorities identified her as 29-year-old Tasia Fortune, detectives began investigating her death alongside other high-profile cases involving tree-hangings in the state this past year.

The money trail connected to an alleged million-dollar sports scheme was supposed to lead to answers and accountability. Instead, the story ended in tragedy after one man at the center of shocking allegations was found dead. Mohamed Coulibaly was accused of running an elaborate online investment scheme that allegedly targeted former NFL players. His body was found floating in a backyard pool in New Jersey, and investigators are still searching for answers.
