Wendy Osefo & Eddie Osefo Face Trials After RHOP Hearing

Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie are moving forward with their legal case, and there’s a fresh update from the courts.

According to court records from a March 4 hearing in Carroll County, Maryland, the couple will now face separate trials rather than appearing together in court. Both Wendy Osefo and Eddie waived their right to a speedy trial during the hearing, which allows more time for the case to proceed.

The decision means each trial will take place independently. Court observers reported that current estimates suggest both proceedings could last several days once they begin.

The case stems from a 2024 report in which the couple told authorities they returned home from a trip to Jamaica and discovered designer handbags and jewelry missing. Eddie later provided insurance companies with lists detailing items he said were stolen.

Investigators later questioned parts of the claim after reviewing retail records and other documents. Authorities allege that some items listed as stolen had previously been returned to stores and refunded before the burglary report.

Both Wendy and Eddie were arrested in October 2025 and charged with insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and making false statements to police.

Through representatives, the couple has denied the allegations. “For now, they’re just allegations,” Wendy previously said. “We will continue to push forward.”
