50 Cent is facing another legal battle—and this time it’s coming from someone who claims she was deep in his inner circle for years.
A woman named Monique Mayers has filed a lawsuit against the rap mogul, alleging she worked in senior operational roles across his business empire for over a decade. According to her complaint, things allegedly went downhill when she refused to carry out what she says were illegal acts that 50 Cent requested of her.
Mayers claims that during his past financial struggles—including his bankruptcy period—she was pressured to hide assets in her own name to protect him. She also alleges he tried to get her to file a false police report against his own driver and bodyguard, claiming they stole a car and $600,000 in cash.
She says she refused both requests. And that’s when everything changed.
According to the lawsuit, Mayers was fired shortly after refusing those requests. She then claims she faced years of alleged harassment, intimidation, and retaliation. She also alleges 50 Cent used his influence to have a Forbes feature about her pulled from publication.
Now she’s suing for emotional distress and invasion of privacy, seeking financial damages and a court order to stop any further alleged harassment.
But 50 Cent’s legal team isn’t having it. His attorney strongly denies all allegations, calling the lawsuit “baseless” and describing Mayers as a disgruntled former employee who was terminated for cause years ago. They also argue the claims fall outside the statute of limitations and suggest she’s just trying to cash in.
With both sides making serious accusations, this case could turn into a major courtroom showdown—and potentially expose a lot more behind-the-scenes drama from his empire.
