Lil Wayne‘s former bodyguard took him to court hoping for a settlement. Instead, he’s walking away with a bill that stings a lot more than his claims ever did.
According to court documents obtained by BlkCosmo, a Los Angeles judge ruled in Lil Wayne‘s favor Wednesday against his ex-bodyguard Christian Carlos, who had filed an assault-with-a-firearm lawsuit against the rapper.

The judgment represents a significant legal victory for Wayne. Not only did Carlos lose the case, but he’s now responsible for paying $29,225 in monetary sanctions. The court initially awarded Wayne $26,000, then tacked on an additional $3,225 when it dismissed Carlos’ claims entirely.
Carlos filed the lawsuit in December 2023, claiming Wayne assaulted him and brandished a firearm during a confrontation at the rapper’s Hidden Hills home in 2021. He alleged the dispute started after Wayne accused him of leaking photos and demanded he leave the property.
Wayne denied the allegations from the start. The court’s decision brings the case to a close with the judge siding entirely with the rapper and ordering his former bodyguard to cover the costs.
Weezy got the final word on this one.
