Ray J is reportedly in a Las Vegas hospital after a viral knockout during his MMA fight with Supa Hot Fire. The 45-year-old R&B singer checked himself into a medical facility roughly two hours after Saturday’s match, according to reports. Doctors are conducting tests to check for a possible concussion.

The fight took place at UFC Apex during an event hosted by livestreamer Adin Ross. Ray J, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., faced Supa Hot Fire, 35, whose real name is DeWayne DeShawn Stevenson, also known as DeShawn Raw. The match ended in the second round after Supa Hot Fire landed a knockout punch that left Ray J unsteady. He fell against the ropes before hitting the mat, eventually standing up before the referee called the fight.

What really got people talking was Ray J’s post-fight interview. He suggested the match was supposed to go a different way, implying there had been an arrangement that his opponent didn’t honor. Ray J called the whole situation “janky as f–k” and mentioned losing serious money over the incident.

This isn’t Ray J’s first health scare recently. Back in January, he claimed he had only months to live after being hospitalized for pneumonia and “heart pains.” Now he’s dealing with recovery from this knockout and the questions surrounding what went down in the ring.
